Description
The Victoria Arduino VA388 Black Eagle should need no introduction, this is the espresso machine trusted by the none other than the World Barista Championships.
This is truly a barista dream machine in every sense.
Sleek, refined and with a plethora of killer features that make this the competition-leading high-end coffee machine.
Crafting only the world's finest coffee, the Black Eagle is the showstopper your business has been looking for.
Innovators since 1905
With over 100 years of espresso machine experience, Victoria Arduino never compromise on quality and consistency, a process that has seen them redefine the coffee industry since inception.
Based in Belforte del Chienti, Italy, the company continues the traditions of its founder Pier Teresio Arduino by investing in research to offer the most advanced espresso technologies.
The choice of the World Barista Championships
Trusted as the machine of choice for the World Barista Championships from the 2015 to 2017 competitions, the VA388 Black Eagle was used by all competitors in the tournament, providing the entire organisation with the best coffee making machines possible.
Coming in two distinct variants, the Gravitech and the Volumetric, both with key differentiating features that set them apart from other machines available.
Every single edge, corner, nook and cranny of the Black Eagle has been designed for the high-end user. This is truly an artisan machine that makes artisan coffee. No wonder it's trusted by the world's best baristas.
Advanced technology
The VA388 Black Eagle Gravitech is not just a great name, incredible technology has been included to solve the problems of a modern coffee shop.
With gravimetric technology, the weight of the liquid extracted is measured directly in the cup. The data is therefore much more precise and, more importantly, is not affected by other factors, such as the shape of the filter, the tamping force on the coffee, the condition of the showerheads and more.
The barista always has full control of each delivery, the quantity in the cup is always programmed and any difference between one delivery and the next is eliminated.
Whilst this may seem confusing, it is incredibly simple to create consistent espresso made at the exact same ratio every single time, helping your specific coffee blend stand out from the crowd.
Easy control, better brew
Both the Volumetric and Gravitech feature a whole host of features key that make the Black Eagle a true choice for the serious coffee business.
Temperature is key in the creation of quality espresso, and so Victoria Arduino sought to tackle this common problem by investing and researching into technology that could control every single parameter during the coffee extraction and brewing process.
Thus was born T3, a technology that allows your barista to set three individual temperatures: for the brewing group, the water infusion and the steam.
What does this achieve? Greater temperature stability and therefore thermal accuracy for the perfect espresso every single time.
An electronic control system monitors and probes for temperature, pressure and PID to manage each variable and improve consistency from even the first usage.
Barista profile
A low profile design means that baristas can interact with the customers, whilst remaining in complete control of the entire coffee-making process without distraction.
Operation is made simple with just three buttons per group head — short, long and manual — baristas of any level can make the finest coffee with the Black Eagle.
This simple operation does not hinder the amount of control available, a TFT display includes a rotary switch menu management system and displays integral brewing information at every stage of the brewing process.
Each steam wand is managed via a simple lever control system for precise foamed milk, whilst Victoria Arduino's 'Cool Touch' insulated steam wand technology means that they are cool to contact and incredibly safe to clean and manage.
Sustainably crafted
Made from quality components, the VA388 Black Eagle has been designed to pay attention to saving energy through a combination of internal components — designed to restrict heat loss — and technology that lowers power consumption during idle periods.
All materials used to build each and every Black Eagle espresso machine is fully recyclable, this is a truly high quality and environmentally friendly coffee machine.
Eye-catching design
Sleek and with retro stylings, the Black Eagle is available is three colour and finish options.
Available in simple black, white and brushed aluminium finishes, despite the pedigree, the Black Eagle is an understated coffee machine that takes cues from it's stablemate the VA358 White Eagle.
The minimalist rear logo and vented side panels are complemented by the classy domed feet that have been influenced by classic 60s designers.
Viewed from any angle, the Black Eagle is an incredibly striking and attractive machine that is both impressive and understated.
