Eden Hazard and Lotus Biscuits Combine For the Perfect Kick
This is what happens when you combine Lotus biscuits, 10,000 coffee cups and a Premier League superstar.
Chelsea star Eden Hazard might be having a bit of a troubled time on the pitch at the moment.
Yet judging by his latest commercial, the Belgian international appears to be in fine form.
The former Lille man has drawn the ire of the Stamford Bridge faithful this season amid speculation that he might be on his way to the bright lights of the Bernabeu or the Parc de Princes.
After dazzling last term as he helped guide Chelsea to the Premier League title, Hazard has suffered a much-publicised dip in form. Normally, the dynamic winger finds the back of the net on a regular basis, but this time around, he has scored just twice – both in the FA Cup – all season.
However, when asked to lace up his boots by the Belgian biscuit firm Lotus, he was on the mark.
In a new advert promoting the famous bakers, the 25-year-old stepped up to the penalty spot to become a crucial component in a Rune Goldberg Machine.
All he had to do was kick a ball into a small, branded sign, which in turn would knock a Lotus biscuit into a coffee cup.
The only problem was he had to do this without smashing any of the 10,000 coffee cups that surrounded the sign.
Did he manage it?
