Alongside being the coffee machine experts and stocking a wide selection of beverage makers, we also offer a variety of repair and service options.
A typical service, carried out by our team, would take place at your premise at a time to suit you.
For example, a service for a traditional espresso machine would typically include*:
- A strip and clean of the group heads; this ensures that no excess coffee grounds are stuck in the fixtures which has a detrimental taste to your coffee.
- Replace any washers, seals, shower plates, heads or gaskets that are showcasing signs of heavy wear and tear which will, over a period of time, impact efficiency.
- Strip, check, clean all steam and water valves, replacing them when necessary
- Check and adjust general machine settings to optimise performance in all aspects of the brewing process
- Provide advice for any potential future replacements that are not immediately required, but could cause a problem later on down the line.
Our team of engineers are highly skilled and work on a variety of machines on a daily basis and have, over time, become masters of maintenance: They are trained to diagnose and fix any problem throughout the whole coffee brewing process and are on hand at all hours of the day and operate the length and width of the entire country.
All machines should have a service at least every twelve months as this will maximise their lifespan whilst simultaneously reducing the possibility of any future breakdowns. This ensures that your business is not suffering costly down time and that your machine carries on doing what it does best: making great coffee and, importantly, turning a profit.
A service is completely the customer’s decision and as a company we will not try enforce them upon any of our clientele, though we do advise regular check-ups. Initially, if you contact us regarding a problem, one of our experienced operators will initially try resolving any issue you have over the phone first, if the situation allows.
If that is unsuccessful, only then will we dispatch an engineer to your business. They regularly carry commonly needed spare parts and all the necessary tools and equipment so most problems can be fixed on the spot. In the unfortunate eventuality that your machine needs some additional tender loving care, we have a purpose built workshop where any problems will be rectified as quickly as possible.
That said, a regular service is advised. You would not let your car stutter along underperforming or let it go for an extended period without a check-up, and the same goes for your coffee machine!
