Coffee butter: Move over Nutella we want some caffeine spread
It could be time for Nutella to take a step back and let a new spreadable delight to be our favourite addition to toast and more.
A dairy company based in Japan has just introduced a new coffee butter. Now we can enjoy not only sipping our coffee but spreading it on toast too.
Known in Japan for selling various kinds of butter, cheeses and desserts, the company’s biggest seller is actually Snow Brand Coffee.
A unique milky coffee mixture, Snow Brand was launched during the early 1960s, and so to honour the 55th anniversary of the company, they decided to create a new product based around it.
This is how Snow Brand Coffee Soft came into existence, and now our craving for the coffee butter hybrid is of course born out of curiosity and of course desire to see what it actually tastes like!
A margarine-style spread, Snow Brand Coffee Soft is for usage on bread, pastries and of course anything else that you think needs the caffeine-spread treatment.
Of course, as the name suggests, this coffee butter tastes exactly like coffee but can be spread on just about anything.
Imagine coffee flavoured pancakes or croissants…that would be awesome.
Although it’s a little strange, and of course many won’t be fans of the spreadable form of coffee but we have coffee cubes, coffee ice cream and coffee liqueur, so why is this majorly different?
Launching in the very near future, the only downside is the availability worldwide — Snow Brand Coffee Soft is only available in supermarkets throughout Japan.
So at least until some enterprising person decides to bring what could be either the greatest addition to butter since garlic from the land of the rising sun, then we will have to just wonder what we’re missing out on.
