Brilliant Bonfire Night beverages
Guy Fawkes Night is one of the busiest and most popular traditions in the English calendar, we head out in our droves to see effigies of failed ‘freedom fighter’ Guido Fawkes burned in blazing bonfires and celebrate the demise of the those who committed treason almost 400 years ago.
Whilst we brave the cold (and sometimes the Great British weather), the hot drink provides the perfect tonic to warm up whilst watching the fireworks.

What better way to keep warm whilst watching gunpowder itself exploding in a shower of colours in the sky than with a luxurious hot drink in your hands? We can’t think of many better options for this exact scenario!
Gingerbread Latte
Ingredients
- 2 pumps Sweetbird Gingerbread syrup
- Double espresso
- Steamed milk
Method
- Brew your espresso and once brewed, add the flavoured syrup.
- Stir well.
- Top the espresso with the steamed milk.
Top tip: Sprinkle with crushed Lotus Speculoo Biscuits for an even better hot drink experience.
Toasted Marshmallow hot chocolate
Ingredients
- 1 sachet Caffe Society traditional red hot chocolate
- 2 pumps Sweetbird toasted marshmallow syrup
- Steamed milk
Method
- Make the hot chocolate with hot water or via the preferred method of adding hot chocolate mixture to milk before steaming.
- Once ready, add the toasted marshmallow syrup.
Top tip: Add whipped cream and place a few Mini Marshmallows on to finish.
