Astoria redesign the Treviso
Astoria has recently redesigned both the Treviso and the Treviso Compact. These two new models – now known as the Treviso R and the Treviso R Compact respectively – are sure to turn heads and serve up some outstanding espressos.
The biggest change with these machines is the exterior.
Astoria has opted to change direction with these new models, forgoing the understated look that was the signature of the original Treviso machines.
That old panelling is gone, replaced by a stylish, retro-inspired exterior that has been designed to capture the eye.
As well as this brand new panelled exterior, the two Trevisos incorporate a more ergonomic operating area.
All push buttons are now located in a linear alignment, and the two steam knobs have been re-profiled to make them easier to use.
Together, these two changes make the machines much easier to use.
Treviso R
Available as a one, two or three-group model, the Treviso R is a Caffe Society best seller.
It has everything that you would expect from an espresso machine such as raised groups, an electronic cup warmer and four different volumetric settings.
On the inside, you will find a traditional Italian-made copper boiler and piping system that helps keep the water at an optimum temperature for espresso extraction.
Available from £1,825 (or £12.99 per week)
Treviso R Compact
The Treviso R Compact is only available as a two-group model. However, it is arguably the most versatile and flexible coffee machine that we sell.
It is available with a manual or automatic fill (mains connected) water tank; its group handle can be configured to accommodate either ground coffee, coffee capsules or coffee pods, and it comes with an easy cappuccino milk-frothing attachment as standard.
Internally, it features the same boiler, plumbing system and electronics as its slightly bigger brother.
I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s a larger-than-life pint-sized espresso machine!
Available from £1,949 (or £13.49 per week)
